Why Providence Explorer exists
A personal portfolio project built to make Providence easier to understand for newcomers.
About Providence Explorer
I came to Providence as an international student in 2025 and wanted a clearer way to understand the city beyond scattered apartment listings, maps, and random online posts.
After spending my first year exploring neighborhoods, comparing rents, figuring out transit, and learning how different parts of Providence feel in daily life, I decided to build this site for people who are new here, moving here soon, or still want a more organized way to explore.
